Having fully settled in to this new world of online Pilates lessons, we are now thrilled to announce the very first
of our all new, online beginners courses!
Our beginners course will introduce you to all of the basic principles, positions and movements of Pilates. Our classes are 100% live! (No pre-recordings, no YouTube gimmicks.) So you get real feedback and true interaction with your instructor. During the course you will begin to learn more about your body then you ever have before! You'll improve your strength, tone, posture and mobility, and start to gain the knowledge and techniques needed to progress on to our improvers courses. Most importantly you'll have a great time doing it! There's nothing scary about our online lessons, every other person will be a beginner just like you.
We want you to get just as much out of our online sessions as you do in our studio so we're limiting numbers on the course to just 6 people. This allows Stephanie to give you her full attention, getting to know you and guide you in the way that helps you reach your maximum potential.
Our first beginners course will run on the following dates:
- Saturday 4th of July 10.45-11.45
- Saturday 11th of July 10.45-11.45
- Saturday 18th of July 10.45-11.45
- Saturday 25th of July 10.45-11.45
- Saturday 1st August 10.45-11.45
The cost of the course is just £39, which also includes a private 20 minute 1-2-1 introduction and set-up session with Stephanie.

- You will be required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to starting the course, this will be sent to you via email.
- Bookings are final. If you wish to cancel your place on the course you will be refunded as follows: More than one week prior to the course starting = 50% refunded. One week or less prior to the course starting = 0% refunded.
- We hope you'll attend all 6 classes but if you do miss a class you will be allowed access to the recording for 3 days.

I had not done Pilates for over a year when I joined Steph’s classes. I’ve been a bit sceptical about online classes in the past, but 4 weeks on and I’m a convert. The hour seems to fly by. Steph’s Pilates sessions are very well structured and her instructions are clear and professional which makes them easy to follow. There is always a good balance and variety of exercises and she always offers more challenging options too, so you feel you are getting the most out of every session. My core is already feeling much stronger and my flexibility improving. I would thoroughly recommend Core Pilates Online to any of my friends.

When we went into lockdown all those weeks ago, one of the things I was going to miss most was my twice weekly Pilates classes with the core studio Lichfield run by the very capable Stephanie Lloyd. However Steph was on the case and signed up to Zoom so that we could do the classes from home. What a great idea that was and I would recommend anyone to try these classes. It's very easy to download the Zoom app and you simply join the class at the time you tell Steph you would like. I had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with the versatility of the classes. Steph thought about using moves that would suit any level be it beginners up to advanced as after explaining the move she then adds extra challenges for the more experienced.If anyone would like to try Pilates for the first time then I would highly recommend starting from the comfort of your own home with Steph whilst we are in lockdown.

Until recently I attended a weekly Equipment Pilates class at the Core Pilates Studio. I had also had some experience of mat classes before that. Since lockdown made these activities impossible I now regularly link up with Steph’s online sessions using ‘Zoom’. Steph is a great instructor who knows how to communicate well and she really knows her Pilates! She can draw on her experience to predict what needs correcting in your breathing and posture and cues her instructions with precision timing.
Sessions are pitched at several levels so you can adjust your moves to suit where you are up to and what your body can cope with on that day. The content is well planned and sessions are made interesting by mixing some familiar moves with some new challenges. Very little equipment is needed, a comfortable floor surface or mat, an iPad, laptop or smart phone. Other basic equipment can be used if you have it, but it’s not essential.
The Zoom programme used is safe and once set up it is easy to use. At first you may feel a bit exposed thinking everyone can see you in various unflattering positions, in fact you become that small on screen it’s easier to dip out and take a break when you need to than if you were in a studio class! It’s great to see familiar faces in the class in the few minutes before the session start. Once the session is over I feel energised, mentally healthier, and more motivated to face the rest of the day. By taking part a couple of times a week I can really feel the physical benefit. I have a better range of movement in my joints, improved core strength and flexibility is getting there!
The advantage of an online session for me is that it’s the perfect way to carry on with Pilates in the current lockdown situation. Looking to the future, I feel online classes will be easier to fit into my week, there is no travel time, no parking issues and I can set up my own space to work in at home, or wherever I am. I’m hoping when we get back to ‘normal’ I can attend classes both at the studio and online.
I highly recommend trying out the online classes, whatever your level of fitness and whether you have experience of Pilates or not.

Core Pilates has really been enjoyable for me as it is a complete change up to my fitness routine. It has helped me learn more methods on how to keep my body healthy in a comfortable and friendly setting. Steph is an amazing teacher and really cares for each person that takes her class, she moves around during the lesson to make sure that she helps everybody. With a wide range of levels being taught she has a class to cover everyone. Even in these uncertain times she has made sure that she is able to continue teaching through zoom multiple times a week with clear instructions, it's helped to keep me sane. I’ve recommended Steph and Core Pilates to all my friends and family as I can not praise it enough.
